THE PROCESS

We create in small batches from our New York and North Carolina home atelier in small batches.

All wooden pieces are first sketched, then colored.  Next we cut, shape, sand, buff, varnish and drill accordingly.  After quality control, we then assemble into a unique conversation starter pair of earrings made just for you. Lastly, they are cleansed with sage and crystals for positive energy. 

Each one is one-of-a-kind, cut from the same cloth, but unique in every way as no two pieces will ever be just alike. 

THE CLAY APPROACH

We create in small batches from our New York home atelier in small batches with the highest quality artist grade polymer clay.  Once our sketches are secured, we individually mix and pigment each color. Now comes the fun part, sculpting each design, cutting, then shaping. Next we slowly cure our components in the oven. Once cooled, we sand, buff, clean, varnish and drill accordingly.

CARE 

First and most importantly, do not sleep with your jewelry on. I cannot emphasize this enough! 

Protect your jewelry from lotions, perfumes, hairsprays in prevention of surface damages.

Avoid getting your jewelry wet. Remove before shower, pool, or the beach. 

 Gold + Silver + Brass + Copper + Vintage

These materials naturally oxidize over time if exposed to water and oils from the skin, oxygen, moisture, and chemicals. Should they tarnish, clean with a soft polishing cloth and/or tarnish remover. 

Gold Filled

Known to contain 100 times more real gold than gold plated, tarnish resistant, sensitive skin friendly, durable, and is quite an affordable alternative to solid gold  

Raw Brass

Raw brass darkens naturally with use and time, does not respond well to water, or chemicals.  It can restore its shine by buffing with a polishing cloth, a non-toxic scrub like Bon Ami, or soap and water.

Acrylic + Wood + Vintage

Gently wipe down with a soft cloth or microfiber towel.

Note: Never use polishing cloths on acrylic, as this will scratch its surface.

STORAGE

I recommend storing your earrings by either hanging or lying flat in a cool, dry space away from the sun, preferably in a cloth bag or box or cloth bag.

REPAIR

I am not reliable for damaged items in transit as all orders are securely shipped in a bubble mailer or box with padding wrapped around each item.  Should your earring post detach, you may use a small amount of strong glue of choice to secure it back on. Keep in mind certain factors play a key role over time, such as the weather, mishandling, water, etc.

ARE YOUR PRODUCTS ALLERGEN FREE?

All of our earrings are made with hypoallergenic stainless steel posts and backs per our supplier.

WILL MY PRODUCT LOOK EXACTLY AS PICTURED?

Given the unique nature of handmade,it is impossible to make them blemish free.  Expect possible small imperfections and inconsistencies, such as slight variances of color from what appears on screen, tiny bubbles, dusts, or other small marks that in no way affect the overall aesthetic appeal nor functionality of an item. You will benefit from one of a kind pieces with character.
